Re: I need some advice

Back to normal would be going back to being backed up and going whenever his
system is full enough to push some poop out. This is his normal now and it's a
lot better.
He understands it and the only thing he doesn't like is that he has stop
whatever it is he's doing to go to the bathroom, just like every other kid lol
He doesn't ask questions because we have talked to him about it ever since it
was first brought up. It's his body so we make sure that he is part of all the
talks with Dr's and part of the planning. We've done that ever since he was old
enough to talk, even if he didn't understand everything we talked about he was
part of it and I think that's really important.
Oh and the MACE now looks almost like the first one when it healed, just a
slightly larger scar. It doesn't hurt him, it's covered by his pants so not
everyone sees it (well if he doesn't show them they don't lol), and he forgets
about it most of the time because it's just part of him now kinda like his
AFO's. If he had been older when he got had the surgery done I think it would
have been harder because his still at an age where he doesn't really care about
his looks and stuff yet and still younger enough to be adaptable to and
accepting of big changes like this.

Kaleb understand what it is he has? Does he ask questions about the hole in his
belly.

He can play whatever he wants. The catheter would stay in for 4-6 weeks depending on how it heals, but after that it shouldn't be a problem. I have one and...
