Hi...my name is Jenny...I'm new to the Spina Bifida Chat. I live in
Australia and am 33yrs of age. I basically just wanted to come into
the Spina Bifida chat rooms because I'm going through a bit of a
rough patch. I have had an ulcer on my bottom for 10yrs...give or
take a few months :). Problem is now that my Doctor is telling me
that I will probably end up needing a Hind Quarter Amputation. As
you can imagine this was quite upsetting to here. I have great
family and friends who have been with me through thick and thin. They
always tell me that they don't pretend to understand my problem...but
whatever happens...they'll go along for the ride with me all the
way. For this I feel nothing but gratitude and totally blessed.

I'm a pretty fun loving kind of girl...but life has had it's ups and
downs...guess that's what keeps making me stronger though. So if
there is anybody out there who maybe has been through this
situation...or even if you just wanna chat...please feel free to pop
in on me. Oh...just 1 more thing. When is the best times to come
into the chat rooms? Again as I'm an Aussie and I'm new here I'm
just curious to know when I'll be able to chat to all you great
(maybe who knows) new friends.
