It is the same here with SSI, I have been home with Devin for 8 years because of
it, and our debt just gets higher and higher because of it. But as someone else
said if he loses his Little SSI check then he loses medical too and then we are
totally (screwed) for lack of better wording. It frustrates me so much. We can
Not even depend on the SSI check because it differs every month and the last two
months we have not even gotten a check. I dont understand the system that is
for sure..

I totally agree. My son's SSI is based on me not working. I was told
if I get a job or generate any income he will lose it. Because he gets
child support it was reduced. He gets maybe 1/4 of what other people
get.it is like a never ending battle. How can we make a better life if
we will be punished financially for trying to do so? I live in
Pennsylvania but I have friends in other states who get so much help.
Being only 5 foot 3 he is almost my height so I really could use some
help.
