Hi Amy-
My name is Maureen and this is the 1st post I have ever answered. It
is interesting you say she is on medicaid with only 6 visits a year; I
am 23 years old with spina bifida s1 hydrocephalus, sernix (sp) and
Chiari...I have had medicaid since I was 18 and as far as I know there
hasn't been a limit for dr. visits. But I too have SSI and am covered
under my parents insurance. You may want to talk to your case worker
and see if they have any ideas about this...good luck I know it wasn't
much help but maybe something can be pulled out of it.
Maureen
ps: i live in ks and maybe its a state to state thing
