When the first of the year comes around, it is always a nice time to focus on
either doing something different or making a change in your life.  Some of us
focus on losing weight, quitting habits that are not beneficial to us, getting

One woman I spoke to they don't do presents at all they take a vacation.  I
thought that was a neat way of celebrating together.

Well is anyone doing anything special over the holidays?  We are just going to
keep it simple this year and enjoy the day off together.  Usually I am cooking
all day then spending half the night cleaning everything up.  So it will be nice
to keep it simple this year.  What about everyone else?  Anyone traveling?

I think this holiday I am going to make sure to have plenty of veggies set out
so I don't snack on junk food, but still get to feel like I am a part of the
festivities.

A good thing too is we will be having my husband's grandmother over and she is
diabetic so I am going to try and make some of her favorite sweets but without
the sugar and use an alternative sweetner instead.

What are your plans for the holiday?

Need to separate your health food from the junk food that other members in the
family might be eating?  Try placing your healthy Special K bars and drinks all
in one location on a shelf, so you know what you can grab that will help you
stick to your challenge.  Have a great weekend everyone!

The shoes are just as important as the dress.  What are you going to be wearing
on your feet?  Some women don't want to wear heals because their spouse is
shorter than them, some want the extra lift.

Where did you buy them at?  Come across any good deals?
