Welcome to SPD Life, the first group run BY people with SPD FOR people with SPD in ANY age group. Sensory Processing Disorder is a lifelong neurological condition. It can start at any age, though it usually starts at birth, and can not be totally cured. However, we CAN learn to cope, and we CAN try to help each other, and ourselves.

So, be you a teenager, an adult sufferer, or a senior citizen, this group is completely open to you. It is also open to parents, siblings, and those who merely live with someone with SPD, or professionals who treat people who do. We are all in this fight together. The world does NOT understand us, but we DO. It is time to come together and start talking!

This group is also open to those suffering from other disorders alongside their SPD, like Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, OCD, Fragile X, and Cerebral Palsy. I just won't be letting in spammers.

We can talk about it all, SPD treatment, memories, triumphs, traumas, research, or any other topic that relates to living with SPD, as it effects all areas of life. Together, we can offer the support we so badly need.
