Hello to All,

This afternoon I plan to begin a re-read of Whitfield's work. I
find his work significant in its thoroughness and statistical data,
as well as his medical background. I met him and heard him speak at
a conference here in San Marcos. I will be attending one this week-
end with Subby as the keynote speaker.

I am truly aware of the programs sayings that discount personal
human experience, (therefore discounting the person).

One of my sponsees sharing with someone, her present circumstances
which included emotional pain.

"Well don't you have a program?"

"Well don't you have a sponsor?"

In otherwords, don't be real, don't feel, on and on.

This type of experience reminds me of my mother. One example of
this would be whenever I became ill, she would say to me, "But Beth,
you eat tofu."

The 12 step rule, "Work a program, disconnect from humanity."
