I am delighted with your piquant wit, my friend. Must have been one hell of a stressful day!  Yet, ironically, I stand as the beneficiary to that sweet blast of sarcasm.
The reason I'm eager to lose weight is because I don't like to be hindered from engaging in activities I enjoy. That and my blood cholesterol is up to 261. I couldn't give a slippery shit in a shoe about people's acceptance or nonacceptance of me. If I did, I would have to attend to a host of unpopular perceived "flaws" in my looks and personality. I should show you my monochromatic wardrobe someday:  basic black and as unrestricted as possible. And I make no effort to cater to image at any time. As an atheist UU, secular humanist, anarchist, and lesbian, I'm not looking for anyone's popularity vote. To top it off, I'm a damned unproductive parasite on the ass of humanity. However, in all, I consider myself a superlative human being. Character--integrity and oddness--is my stock in trade. I'd sooner be roast on a spit than apologize for what I am nor do I care to pander to anyone's favored myths lest I incur their wrath. What matters most is if you accept yourself and you have a clean conscience. The rest is minutia.

Have a pleasant evening. You deserve it.
