I feel overwhelmed with anxiety in almost any social situation. So much so that at times I can't even get my words together to say what I want to say and still make sense to the listener.
I blush just about all the time, my hands sweat and tremble when I feel I'm being watched....
And the very thought of being the centre of attention in a large group is stomach churning for me, if I could get out of it, I most certainly would.
When I'm at work, I make that many mistakes when my boss is watching me, she sometimes shakes her head and laughs at me......if only she understood and if only I had someone else to talk to that felt the same way and had the same experiences as me, maybe this anxiety I'm experiencing wouldn't be such a cross to bear.
I hope this group will allow me to meet other fellow socially anxious people and share our experience and for others to find a common experience with fellow socially anxious people too.
