Hello and welcome to Sober friends, formerly AA for those with multi gods. This is an email group that has been established in order to help share our ESH in recovery and talk about whatever we need in order to continue to live sober lives. The ONLY requirement for membership is the desire to stop drinking. We welcome all who have the desire to stop drinking and to recover from the cunning and baffling disease that we know as alcoholism and drug addiction. This group was originally established for those whose individual understanding of their higher power does not conform to the traditional religious beliefs and its primary members are Pagan. However, we welcome all those who wish to grow spiritually through the program of Alcoholics Anonymous and learn more about other beliefs.

While our main purpose here is to talk about recovery, in no way should this group be seen as an official AA meeting, nor should it be a substitute for attendence of face to face recovery meetings.
