Don't feel alone. I've had some form of nasal allergy since I was a
child. They started after I had my tonsils and adenoids out.

I've pretty much run the gamut of meds (including singulair) and
nasal sprays (nasalcrom, flonanase, nasalcort, rhinacort), and have
gotten little to no relief at all. A friends husband suggested I
try Zicam Allergy Relief, which is a homeopathic remedy in a non-
drip nasal spray. I did some research out on the net and found
that "Similisan" and "BioAller Nasal Spray" all seem to contain the
same homeopathic remedies.

I'm hoping something non-allopathic will do the trick.

Being obsessive, I bought both the Zicam (Allergy Relief and Severe
Congestion) and the Similisan. I have the "BioAller" on order,
it has some additional ingredients.

I'm at day 2 of the Zicam Allergy Relief. I've found it
exacerbates my symptoms - additional sneezing, nose running more,
head feels packed and swollen, ears and palate itching more, post
nasal drip sore throat. But the info says it will do this, as your
body is reacting to the homeopathis. I figure I can't be much more
miserable than I already am.

I've started alternating it with the "Congestion Relief" formula,
and still am seeing exacerbation of symptoms, perhaps a bit worse
even. I'll give it another day or two and see where that leads me.
