Do you wish to be part of a dynamic, forward thinking Adult team?

Do you have experience of working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing problems?

We currently have a vacancy for a full‑time Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work as part of our adult team. You will be responsible for providing a service across a range of hospital and community settings to in and out‑patients.

You will be involved in the development and implementation of new service delivery systems and will support less experienced staff.

You will be based in our purpose built adult department and will have good clerical and assistant support.

There are regular staff meetings, clinical supervision sessions, inservice training and opportunities for CPD.

Please contact Ruth Rayner on (0191) 569 9009 for more information, on the above post, or to arrange an informal meeting.

Would you like to develop your dysphagia skills?

Or would you like a combination of adult and paediatric work? Would you like to work in a department of 40 Speech and Language Therapists who meet regularly and can provide you with regular support and supervision?

If the answer to any of these questions is YES then ring us for an informal chat Penny Best, Head of Paediatrics, on (0191) 569 9122 or Ruth Rayner, Head of Adults, on (0191) 569 9009.
