With the Department of Health focus on how to integrate health and social care working and encourage support for self-care, there is an increasing role for innovation and assistive technologies to support this and create better health outcomes for those with long-term conditions. However, there continue to be concerns around how to engage health professionals, how to ensure that patients can be recruited and retained to use new systems, and how to invest in technology in a sustainable way. This conference will address your key concerns around the future of technology for managing long-term conditions.
