Intensive Speech & Language Therapy for Children with Dysarthria
The Institute of Health and Society is looking to appoint a speech language therapist to work on a pilot research study investigating the possible effectiveness of intensive therapy for young children with dysarthria associated with cerebral palsy.
Duties include assessing children's speech, providing intensive therapy to children in schools, taking measures of speech intelligibility and perceptual characteristics of speech, assisting with data analysis, and other research activities.
You will be a highly motivated, well organised speech and language therapist with a first or upper second class degree.
Tenable for 16 months. Support and guidance will be provided throughout the project
