Post Title : Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist

Band 5  (Salary - from £20,225pa)

371/2 hours per week

Location: Department of Speech & Language, Gateshead

 

A rare opportunity has arisen to join Gateshead PCT's Community Paediatric Team.  The Team is an integral part of the Paediatric SLT Service providing speech and language therapy to children and young people with the full range of speech, language and communication problems. 

 

The post holder will work predominately in Health Centres and Clinics although liaison with nurseries and schools is key to the role.

 

Applications are invited from qualified SLTs who have some experience of working within a Community Paediatric setting, preferably gained since graduation, although newly qualified SLT's would also be considered.

 

The Department offers excellent supervision to newly qualified therapists and continuing professional development is supported and encouraged.
