North Tees PCT and Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council are partners in
our fully integrated Children's Trust. As a result we have
substantial investment to develop SLT services for children in
Stockton-on-Tees. We are looking for experienced, highly motivated
and enthusiastic clinicians to lead our 4 new locality teams.

The Team Leaders will co-ordinate a small SLT team providing a
service to children in one locality including:
- locality caseload management
- supervision of other SLT staff
- assessing and providing appropriate management for children
with a wide range of communication and swallowing difficulties
- working jointly with specialist SLTs
- delivering training to parents and professionals

Teesside was traditionally known for its shipbuilding, chemical
plants and heavy industry. Recent years have seen massive
investment and regeneration for the local communities, bringing a
new vibrancy to the area.
We have an excellent travel network and are well served by major
roads, rail links, and 3 international airports. Within an hour's
drive you will find a wide variety of scenery and leisure
opportunities, ranging from the peace and tranquillity of the North
Yorkshire moors and dales, the dramatic landscape of the Lake
District, the rugged North East coastline, to the bright lights and
retail therapy opportunities of Newcastle, York and Leeds.
