I am contacting you to let you know about a Communication Aid Survey, being conducted by SCOPE.   They want to hear from people who have a communication impairment or their family.  They “believe that everyone should have the right to communicate. Lots of people with communication impairments have told us that they find it difficult to get the right equipment and support to speak for themselves.”  The survey is “to record the experiences of people with communication impairments so we can use this evidence to improve communication aid provision and support. “

Please will you pass this information on to people of any age that use a communication aid, or their family members if this is more appropriate.

You can find it and more information on the SCOPE  website:  http://www.scope.org.uk/disablism/communication.shtml .  They will include any responsed received by the end of Monday 1^st October in the initail reoport.  However,  they are still interested in receiving information after that.
