FINE (Facilitating Inclusion North East) leads on development of `Regional Centres of Expertise'

The DfES has just awarded the region £50,000 to begin the work of developing Regional Centres of Expertise in Special Educational Needs. The North East bid centred on providing accessible training for the children's workforce and facilitating the sharing of good practice, with specific strands of work on :
  • autism,
  • severe communication difficulties
  • acquired brain injury
