CM ROAD SHOWS
|
|
Want to update your knowledge of AAC
equipment & software?
The CM Road Shows (formerly CASC Road
Shows) are organised by Communication Matters and held throughout the UK. They are
great opportunities for you to see and hear all about the latest
communication aid technology from some of the UK's leading
AAC suppliers. What's more, they are free of charge to
attend!
The CM Road Show is a valuable opportunity to learn about communication
aid technology directly from a number of the UK's leading
manufacturers and suppliers of voice output communication aids, AAC
software and related products. There will be opportunities for questions
and hands-on trial of systems.
The presenters will be representatives from
around 10 companies, which will include a selection of the following: Crick Software, DynaVox
Systems/Mayer-Johnson, Inclusive Technology, Liberator, Madhouse
Software Productions, Possum AAC, Prentke Romich International, Quality
Enabling Devices, Richard Hill Associates, Sensory Software/SmartBox AT,
Techcess, Toby Churchill, Widgit Software.
Each Road Show starts at 9.30am and finishes at 3.00pm (registration 9.00-9.30am). After a short
introduction, there are usually 6 sessions during the day. In each session,
all the companies present parallel workshops and participants can choose to
attend any workshop. Each workshop is repeated in each session throughout
the day.
