PART-TIME SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPY ASSISTANT

£12,410 - £14,372 p.a. (pro rata)

 

The North East Trust for Aphasia, within the School of Education, Communication & Language Sciences, is looking for an enthusiastic person to work in the Aphasia Support Centre, a new initiative that will allow people with aphasia and their partners to meet and attend groups.

 

You will work under the supervision of a Speech & Language Therapist, directly working with people with aphasia and preparing materials/rooms.  You need to be a good communicator and have a caring approach to people.  Relevant experience is desirable as is involvement in BTEC professional development or NVQ Level 3 in Care.
