NOMINATION REQUEST:  REHABILITATION HEALTHCARE RESOURCE GROUP (HRG) SCOPING WORK

 

Sally Holman, Project Manager, for this new rehabilitation scoping work has asked for nominations from the Allied Health Professions for this group.  Attached is a short briefing for the project, you will note that HRGs in rehabilitation will not be the outcome of this work.  Instead they have decided to scope out what rehabilitation is and what HRG system is needed to facilitate costing and payment for rehabilitation services.  The work must be completed by October 2005 and Sally envisages two workshop sessions during this time.

 

The SLT representative they are seeking needs to have some understanding of payment by results/coding/costing if at all possible, as well as expertise in rehabilitation.  They are hoping that between all the AHP groups they can cover the many different rehabilitation service models currently employed across the many care groups that AHPs serve.
