Salary: £21,135 - £31,279 (Depending on experience) Subject to

Would you like to play a leading part in the development of a new
rehabilitation team for adults with acquired brain injury?

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic therapist to join a
new team working within an established and highly valued regional
rehabilitation service for adults with acquired complex
neuro-disability.

The Regional Neurological Rehabilitation Centre based at Hunters Moor,
Newcastle upon Tyne has recently developed a partnership with the
Hawthorns based at Peterlee. The Hawthorns is a private Brain Injury
Rehabilitation Centre and is part of the Barchester Healthcare Group.
The successful applicant will work within this satellite service
whilst at the same time maintaining strong clinical links with the
Regional Neurological Rehabilitation Centre.

You will join a committed and friendly multi-disciplinary team. You
will have the opportunity to work with adults with severe and moderate
brain injuries both within the Centre and in community settings. An
ability to work as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team and
demonstrate a clear focus on professional values and rehabilitation
philosophy is essential. You must show excellent communication skills
and contribute to projects to enhance service delivery and development.

We offer support to develop professional interests and skills
including post graduate training courses. We have an established CPD
policy and regular development review and clinical supervision where
an experienced therapist is available. Links with local Universities
provide the opportunity for involvement in student education. You
also be involved in the supervision and CPD of therapy assistants.
