Spine Points 26 – 33, £23,072 - £30,356 per
annum(depending on experience)

Job Description We are looking for a therapist to join our
friendly and innovative Special Needs Team.

We are committed to multi-disciplinary approaches to assessment,
therapy group work and training, including Earlybird, Hanen and joint
initiatives with OT's for children with ASD. There are well
established close links with OT, Physiotherapy and the Preschool
Teaching Service.

This post includes work with both preschool and school-aged children
in a variety of community settings, including Nurseries, Schools and
Units. There are good opportunities for further development of your
skills/interests relating to AAC, paediatric dysphagia, ASD etc.

There is excellent support from other Lead/Specialist Clinicians
working from the central SLT Department.

We can offer:

• Secretarial, Clerical and SLT Assistant support.
• Peer Review Support, Appraisal, Clinical Supervision.
• CPD/CE opportunities with attendance at SIG's encouraged
and funded.
• Good training opportunities with access to internal and
external training courses.
• IT, internet access and interactive software.
• Range of high and low-tech communication aids within Department.
• Established local Becta assessment team.
• Regular staff meetings/briefings.
• A fun working environment with regular social activities!
• The SLT service is committed to the principles of IWL (i.e.
flexible working).
