CHILD AND ADOLESCENT AND AUTISM SERVICES
THERAPY ASSISTANT

Salary: Spine Points 7-11 (£11,195- £12,815)
Hours: 35*
Duration: Temporary - Six Months

This post is available to work with people who have
Learning Disabilities and are inpatients within the
Trust. At Northgate Hospital this would involve
working with adults with Autism and at Prudhoe
Hospital, the work would be with children and
adolescents who present with a range of complex mental
health and medical needs.

We currently have a 6 month post available, for an
Assistant to work primarily with the Speech and
Language Therapist but also with some of the
Occupational Therapists within the division.

This post would suit someone who would like the
opportunity to assist experienced therapists in this
exciting and challenging field, in the provision of an
effective clinical and administrative service for this
Psychiatric Division. An important part of this post
would include supporting small research and audit
projects within the Speech and Language Therapy
service.

Car driver desirable.
