THERAPIST IN MAINSTREAM PAEDIATRICS

We are currently reviewing our service and have
exciting opportunities for Speech and Language
Therapists interested in developing their skills in
Paediatrics. If you have a minimum of 2 years Speech
and Language Therapy experience, some of which is in
paediatrics we may have the job for you.
The areas of clinical specialism could include:
? Autistic Spectrum Disorder
? Specific Language Impairment
? Voice
? Selective Mutism
? Cleft Lip & Palate
? Fluency
? Hearing Impairment
The department provides a service in a range of
environments including community clinic, 2 Speech and
Language Units, Mainstream Schools and client?s homes.
There is close liaison with our local Sure Start
areas, the Education Authority and the acute trust
including Multi Disciplinary Assessment Clinics.
GENERALIST ROTATIONAL SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST
Experienced: Band 2 points 23 - 25 (£20474 - £22143)
New Graduate: Band 1 points 20 ? 22 (£18197 -
£19684)
Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a newly
qualified or about to qualify Speech and Language
Therapist for this generalist post, rotating on an
annual basis.
North Tees PCT provides an integrated service, giving
you opportunities to work with the full range of Adult
and Paediatric Client groups.
A well-established support system including mentorship
and clinical supervision is in operation for new and
recently qualified staff.
Our friendly department provides comprehensive support
and supervision. Staff are actively encouraged to
participate in regional, in house and national
networks including SIG?s & CPD.
The area around North Tees provides a wide variety of
scenery and leisure opportunities in our four National
Parks ranging from the peaceful wilderness of the
North Yorkshire Moors to the tranquillity of the North
East Coastline. We have a comprehensive travel
network, and are within one hour?s drive from three
International Airports.
