Please could you bring the following to the attention of anyone who might be
interested.

The Department of Language and Communication Science, City University, is
running a suite of two two-day refresher courses for Speech and Language
Therapists in June 2004 as follows:

Linguistics - Mondays 14 and 21 June 2004

Phonetics - Tuesdays 15 and 22 June 2004

Each two-day course is £120 per person, including lunch. In the case of
Phonetics the first day is an introductory session and the second a
follow-up session. The first day of Linguistics will be devoted to syntax,
and the second to semantics and pragmatics. This courses will take place
either at the Northampton Square campus or in the Walmsley Building on St
John Street, London EC1.

A discounted rate of £200 is available for SLTs registering for both two-day
courses. You can also do one day of Linguistics and/or on of Phonetics on
14th, 15th, and 21st June at a rate of £60.00 per day.
