The Regional Cleft Lip and Palate service is hosted by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust and the Newcastle upon Tyne NHS Trust and operates as a single centre on a twin site basis.

The Regional Service is now looking to appoint motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapists to work within the Cleft Clinical network.

You will provide a high quality outreach service within a designated geographical area. You will be an integral part of the Regional Cleft Service and will receive regular support, case supervision and training within the Hub site.

You will have:

• 2 years paediatric experience
• A commitment to multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working Excellent communication and liaison skills We can offer you:

• Opportunities to participate in audit and research projects

Post 1 - 6 sessions per week
You will provide a clinical service within the Hub alongside the Deputy Lead SLT and Specialist SLT. In addition, you will provide a specialist outreach Speech and Language Therapy service to the Newcastle and Gateshead area.

Post 2 - 3 sessions per week
You will provide a specialist outreach SLT service to the North Tyneside and Northumberland area.

Post 3 - 4 sessions per week
You will provide a specialist outreach service to the South Tyneside, Sunderland and Hartlepool area.

Post 4 - 2 sessions per week
You will provide a specialist outreach service to the Carlisle and Eden Valley area.

Post 5 -5 sessions per week
You will provide a specialist outreach service to the Middlesbrough, North Tees and Northallerton area.

Post 6 - 3 sessions per week
You will provide a specialist outreach service to the Durham and Sedgefield area.

Post 7 - 2 sessions per week
You will provide a specialist outreach service to West Cumbria.

Any of the above posts may be combined to suit the requirements of Individual candidates.

Driving Licence essential for all posts.
