As a result of investment from the PCT and Sure Start, our team has expanded
rapidly over the past three years and we are now looking to fill the following
posts:
SPECIALIST SLT: SPECIAL NEEDS

Full-time/Part-time/Job share
We are looking for a skilled speech and language therapist with at least three
years experience to provide a specialist service to children with special
needs. The post will involve working with other professionals, agencies and
specialists to develop the service to children with special needs across Hartlepool
and South Easington.
As well as managing a specialist caseload you will provide second opinions,
clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to other
therapists working with children throughout the trust in a variety of
specialist, mainstream and community settings.
You will also have the opportunity to work with other agencies and the
specialist paediatric therapists for physical disability and autistic spectrum
disorder to develop the service.
Applications will also be welcomed from those who do not meet the criteria for
the specialist position but who are interested in gaining experience and developing
skills in working with children with special needs.
