14
month Research Post
based in Newcastle
visiting children with cerebral palsy
To heads of physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy in Northeast England
This post is based in Newcastle and might be of interest to a professional who would like 14 months of different work with salary whilst a locum is employed to cover their work.
The job will be advertised in Nature (November 5) and through http://www.jobs.ac.uk – an academic website (from October 31). Whilst Dr Parkinson is happy to take enquiries (see advert below), I would also be pleased to talk to you or a member of your staff if interested.
I am not contactable November 7 to November 25 and I know this is close to the closing date. It would be wise for an interested person to make an application even if it might be dependent on further discussion with me after the closing date.
We will interview in early January and hope the person would start in April 2004. This would hopefully allow enough time for a locum to be appointed or for prospective academic to give notice from their current job.
Yours sincerely
