Open learning programme
This dynamic new programme is open to anyone
interested in the field of disability including disabled people and those
providing their services.
Based on the reality of students' personal experience and practice, the
programme aims to effect greater understanding of disability issues and to
bring about real, sustainable change for disabled people.
Open to anyone across the UK, regardless of
occupation or previous educational experience, this flexible, modular programme
can be studied at undergraduate or Masters level, and can be used for personal
interest, professional up-dating or to gain academic credits/awards .
Each of the programme's four modules can be studied over six months to two
years depending on the individual student's needs and commitments.
Service improvement projects and personal portfolios
form the basis of assessed coursework, making this an attractive option for
individuals and employers alike.
