POST 1: Speech & Language Therapist
Specialist/Developing Specialist in Adults
Full time Band 2 Points 27 - 33
£22,474 - £29,355 (dependent on experience)
This post provides an excellent opportunity for a therapist looking to develop their skills and experience working with adults. Based at University Hospital of North Tees, the post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of the dysphagia and communication service to the acute and rehabilitation wards.
The post also includes sessions for out-patients in both clinic and domiciliary settings with a range of client groups. Sessions at a specialist unit for clients with young - onset dementia are also available.
The department benefits from volunteer input and user involvement, particularly in the organisation of our client support group.
The exact configuration of the post will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
POST 2: Speech & Language Therapist
Full Time Rotational Post
Experienced:
Band 2 points 23 - 25
(£19,835 - £21,451)
or
New Graduate:
Band 1 points 20
– 22 (£17,629 - £19,069)
Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist for this generalist post, rotating on an annual basis.
North Tees PCT provides an integrated service, giving you opportunities to work with the full range of Adult and Paediatric Client groups.
You will be part of a friendly, professional, clinical and administrative team. A well-established support system including mentorship and clinical supervision is in operation for new and recently qualified staff.
