   There are two new links on the sltnorth homepage at www.sltnorth.org.uk
   The first will take you a list of websites about “The Beautiful North”
   The second will take you an index of links to other useful websites at “SLT North Links Index”
   
   
2. Congratulations are in order!
   To Paul Carding, who is now a Professor.  Sadly, I could not find anything on the internet recording this event – but for anyone who does not know Paul, see here
