Thanks again for a great interview and for agreeing to pass along these
questions to your members. I don't expect every responder to answer all of the questions -- even one would be great! I can use either their real names or pseudonyms, which ever they prefer. But it would be preferable if they could include their age and city with the response. Take care, Louis

I'm the editor of IAPAC+, a new wellness magazine for people

with HIV. I'm doing a story for the next issue on HIV-positive
dating
and I was hoping that you could help me set up a few interviews
with
people -- both positive and negative -- who are in the dating
scene and would share their thoughts on this issue. I'm on a tight
deadline, so please feel free to call anytime. Thanks, Louis

Tips to help you improve your experience on PozMatch.com.
1. Use spell-check. (I couldn't live without this wonderful tool.
Reellee).
2. Avoid telling everything about yourself in your profile. Leave a
little room for mystery. You will have plenty of time to share more
once you meet the right person.
3. Your personal ad should be happy and positive. (No Pun Intended). Always avoid negative comments.
4. Be yourself. You are the perfect you! Exaggerating and bragging
will most likely come back to bite you. (On second thought, that may
be fun).
5. Posting your e-mail address or other contact information may seem
like a good idea, but it may make you look less than honest.
6. Take the time to express yourself. Show your personality. Instead
of saying, “I have a great sense of humor,” show your humorous side. But be careful, don't over do it with too much humor. Express a little
bit of all your personality traits.
7. A picture is worth a thousand words and it really helps your
profile get noticed. Have a professional photographer take your
pictures. If you do it yourself, take many pictures. Use different
lighting, expressions, and clothing. (I always get nervous when
having my picture taken and it always shows in the photo. So, I
learned a little trick; Jump up and down, act silly, laugh out loud,
etc. Then, immediately take the shot. This will help you overcome
photo fear and your picture will look more un-staged).
8. Never give money or disclose personally identifiable information. If a "Model" is stranded in Nigeria and needs money to get home,
simply tell the person to contact the American Embassy and they will
be happy to help. If you notice a questionable profile, please tell
us.
9. Be courteous. Always respond to e-mail, even if you are not
interested. This person may not be right for you. However, someone
else, who they talk with, may be. We are a close community and it's
always best to be courteous.
10. Finally, Have fun! The best is yet to come.
Thank you for choosing Pozmatch.com.
Warmest regards,
Denine Johnson

Hey SINners! I plan on doing this cruise in the fall along with a
bunch of other guys from SIN. This is their biggest attendance ever so we know we will have a lot of fun and get a lot of great information. If you have any questions, please direct them to Paul who is organizing this trip (not me).
Have a great day and hopefully see you all in October on the warm
breezes. I'm not eating any carbs until then so I'll look good in my Speedo!
-------- Original Message -------- Subject: Poz Cruise Retreat Update From: "Paul Stalbaum" <Paul@...> Date: Tue, April 17, 2007 3:26 pm To: <bryan@...>
Hello to all,
Many of the SIN members have contacted me regarding joining us for our
Tenth Annual Poz
Cruise Retreat. So I’d like to take this moment to update you on
how things are progressing. The response has been very exciting as we seem to be getting reservations from people all over the country.
Just so you know we will be sailing from Miami
on the Carnival Valor which is only two years old. The dates of travel
are October 28 – November 4, 2007 so we will be at sea for Halloween. The itinerary is equally exciting as we stop in Grand Cayman, Belize, Roatan (Honduras) and the MayanCoast of Mexico
. The least expensive cabin starts at only $399.00 per person plus a
port tax of $235.00. The rate includes all meals, entertainment, private cocktail parties, lectures with Nelson Vergel and Dr Michael Wohlfieler
and each cabin will get $100.00 spending money on board the ship. This
is quite a good rate.
So far we are about to pass 100 passengers booked and expect to have
doubled that number shortly. I’d really like to encourage you to consider signing up sooner rather than later as we are running low on the inside cabins at $399.00 as well as the lower priced balcony cabins at $655.00. So if you thinking of joining us please contact me soon to be assured of getting the cabin category of your choice.
The people who have sailed with us in the past have often called this is
the best vacation experience they have taken. We believe we have the perfect balance of socialization and education. The sense of community and bonding we see is very gratifying.

... I will not be able to attend the brunch at Joe's Grill. My choir
is in panic mode for a stage production we're putting on the day after
and extra rehearsals have been scheduled for much of the day on the
18th. I'm sure you'll get along fine without me :) and keep an eye out
for any lost souls who look like they might be looking for our group.
Have a good one!

Hey guys. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make brunch tomorrow. I

the road to it by 12:30. Hope you understand and I'll see you all next

Well, for all you guys who were waiting to see if this thing was going
to take off, you can stop waiting. For the past 3 weeks now we've had
four or five guys to each brunch (Sundays at noon at Joe's Grill, 1031
Davie Street) with others saying they're planning on coming out.
Thanks for coming to all you who have and let's see if we can't improve
on those numbers :)
Cheers,
Mark
