Unfortunately my father had a double stroke, and I decided to leave the AIDS Life/Cycle yesterday in order to fly to Seattle and be with my family. I'll have very limited access to email and limited time to respond to them. I will return to San Francisco on Sunday afternoon, but will be flying back up to Seattle where my dad is hospitalized as much as possible over the next few months.
He is slowly regaining mobility on his left side, including better ability to speak and see clearer. He's a trooper but he turns 75 this year and his strength is waning. Without Howard Levinson, Strength In Numbers would probably not be in existence since he helped support us financial at different periods of our existence and he is a great believer in our efforts to improve the lives of HIV+ gay men as best we can.
Thank you to everyone who supported me with my AIDS Life/Cycle donation drive. The ride is going strong and well though with lots of guys from Strength In Numbers as participants whether as riders or roadies. So send them your well wishes to stay safe on their journey to Los Angeles from San Francisco.
Bless you all my friends,
Bryan
