Thanks to Richard, our very handsome photo wrangler (I'm sure he's blushing right now), I was able to upload more photos from our August white water rafting trips on the historic and stunningly beautiful American River outside of Sacramento, California. At the major rapids along the river, professional photographers camp out all day on large rock formations next to the water and catch action shots of the many rafting companies coming down the river. Richard was kind enough to order the photos for our first weekend when we enjoyed two full days of rafting both the upper and lower parts of the South Fork of the American. This included a journey pass Sutter's Mill where gold was first discovered on the West Coast, from which the legendary California Gold Rush was launched in the mid-1800s.
Enjoy!

PS: Noel, our official SIN female number one fan and river guide, was having a slightly bad weekend but she rebounded on the second weekend as a right mighty skipper of my boat. On this first weekend, Dave guided my boat which I got to handpick my crew for the first time so I would have a boat full of the most daring (aka craziest) rafters to take on the most daring and riskiest parts of the rapids. Needless to say, we're nuts and loved it all. Dave steered us into the most treacherous parts of the river. Thank you Dave!
We dubbed our boat, "Bryan's a Bitch Bandana Boat" because we all wore bandanas to protect our heads from the 100 degree sun and heat, and because I kept yelling at my crew to "dig" deeper in the waves to go faster and harder. What can I say, I'm a bitch when it's called for...
