Hello to all the chapters of Strength In Numbers!

My name is Patrick Waechter. I am a member of the Los Angeles SIN
chapter, and am currently working on an assignment for HIV Plus
Magazine.

My assignment is to find people living in the world who exhibit visual
or other sensual ties to their HIV-status that are blatantly
disregarding the stigma of being HIV+. Some examples we've already
identified include a person who drives around with his serostatus
clearly marked on his license plate and a few different people who
have biohazard tattoos. I am looking for as many diverse examples of
displaying pride and/or lack of shame in one's status as possible...
particularly examples outside of the realm of those I've already
mentioned.

If you or someone you know might fit into this arena, I definitely
want to hear from you... get your feedback on your story... and
discuss the possibility of featuring you in the article. The article
will be a photo essay to be a part of an issue of the magazine in late
07 or early 08.
