The creator of the legendary HIV cruises (Paul Stalbaum) has helped me start the very first cruise retreat just for HIV+ gay men. We'll be setting sail from Long Beach, California on Sunday, May 3rd (returning Saturday, May 9th), visiting Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas for day-only stops. Private excursions for our group could include snorkeling off the Baja cape or zip lining through the jungle tree top canopy in the jungles outside of Puerta Vallarta.
Prices per person range from $750 (single cabin) to $1212 (private balcony), with all costs subject to change, port/fuel fees, and based on double occupancy in each cabin. Our total group could be around 50 guys or more, and we will be on a regular sailing (not all gay). We will have some private bar parties and lots of activities together on the ship as a group, including reserved group dining each night.
In light of the economy, I'm working extra hard to help guys figure out lower cost flight/travel options to Long Beach, and more affordable lodging once they arrive for that weekend before the Cruise. Additionally, we'll be helping each other monitor our spending while on the ship so no one has sticker shock when they get their final cruise bill. Also we'll be assisting guys find a fun roommate as best as possible and connecting guys prior to the Cruise so they know more of the guys going. You will not feel lonely on this cruise with our group, but YOU WILL HAVE THE VACATION OF A LIFETIME!
