Greetings and welcome.
The reason that you would want to avoid using anything but distilled water
in your process is two fold:
1. An abundance of silver which is not bioavailable is deposited into the
water.
2. An excess of silver compounds are created with the salt and minerals in
the water. This results in too much dissolved silver in your end solution.
This places you at greater risk of argyria, and greatly effects the
oligodynamic properties of the silver ( and hence, its effectiveness in
smaller doses ).
