I do not know if colloidal silver will help or not but it sure is worth a try.
If his situation were not so urgent I would think you have a good chance of
succeeding. Give it a try, after all you have not much choice.

I just don't know how you intend to administer it though. Can he drink? Use
5ppm, a tablespoon to a quart twice a day depending on whether he can get it
down or not. Be carefull that it does not go down the wrong way. If he has on a
naso-gastric tube for feeding then you could use that because it goes directly
into the stomach. If there is no feeding tube on then you may only risk a
tablespoon under the tongue twice daily

But like I said, due to the graveness of the situation you may not succeed.
Its up to you.
