We use CS for our cats. Good for preventing and curing mouth infections etc,
but no effect on fleas. CS only affects micro-organisms I believe.
Don't be tempted to use essential oils - they are toxic to cats as well as
fleas. I tried some on a collar, but it didn't work. We resorted to
Stronghold (UK vet med - drop on the back of the neck) after one horrible
flea infestation in our apartment.
