Lister's,
In spite of your meter readings you are not making Electrically Isolates
Silver, (silver hydrosol) greater than about 30 PPM and then only on rare
occasions.
If one gets a "meter reading" of 79 then you have some other component besides
silver in it.
I have tested over 400 samples for others and about 500 for my investigation
using my spectrophotometer, and are not going to make EIS over about 30 PPM
without it turning yellowish due to agglomeration.
My fees are reasonable they are $7.50 for the first sample and $5.00 for each
additional sample.
If you put a DMM in the circuit and stop the current when it reaches 1 to 1.5
ma per square inch of wet electrode you will make a very good product.
I would hope you all are keeping records of what you are doing rather than
"flying by the seat of your pants."
If you are using a PWT and have not calibrated it with the manufactures
solution they you have no idea of what you are reading.
You will be surprised at the PWT readings over a two day period. Do it and
take readings about very 4 hours. The results will surprise you.
