Schizophrenia: Lit Shattered Mind

Welcome to the Shattered Mind Support Group.

The purpose of this group is to provide a safe environment for people suffering from schizophrenia related disorders to discuss and share their experiences and support one another. This group consists solely of people suffering from these disorders and is not a place for those seeking diagnoses or medical advice. Moderation is light as we believe you have the right to speak your mind without fear of recrimination, ridicule or censorship. While we aim to keep this group as free and open as possible we do ask that you follow a few basic rules to ensure that this is a safe environment for all.

Do not use graphic details of violence or possible harm to yourself or others;
Do not post aggressive, discriminatory, abusive, mocking or defamatory comments;
No advertisements or spam;
This is an international group and as such there are many different cultures we ask that you Respect these;
Respect religious differences;
Due to the nature of these disorders many different and/or conflicting views and thoughts will be expressed, Respect these;
Do not ridicule the thoughts of others;
Please flag messages with a SPOILER or TRIGGER in the subject line if the content may upset sensitive members;
This group is not for psychologists, medical students or anyone not directly affected by these disorders;
The moderators have the right to moderate or remove any person failing to adhere to these rules.

We hope that this group will be a positive place for you and that you may grow and learn from the other members as we offer support to each other, you are not required to post anything more than you feel comfortable with but the more we share the more we can help one another. Introductory posts aren't required but are appreciated as it helps us get to know one other.
