My name is Ansley Parillo and I recently lost my son Tyler. He was
born at 25+3 weeks on June 7 2008. We were told there was a problem
with the placenta 19 weeks and that he was extremely small. At 25
weeks I started having a placental abruption and my water broke, he
was born via c section 3 days later. They weighed him in the OR and he
was only 381 grams (13.4oz). We were told is chance of survival was
slim to none and we got to hold him as he passed away. I remember it
was so quiet and there was a peace in the room. He did not struggle to
breath but did take 2-3 small breaths as we held him.
Every day I go through many different emotions.
