Welcome to the Sensory Homeschool group on Yahoo! If you are educating a child at home who has sensory processing dysfunction (SPD) or sensory integration dysfunction (SID), you have found the right group!! This is a dynamic, supportive and active group of parents and caregivers who generously share their technical knowledge of sensory processing/integration theory to those who want to learn more, offer as much support and help as you want, and friendships to all!

As all the families in this group are seeking support, strategies and technical advice as it applies to educating their children at home, we respectively ask that all messages posted within the group be specifically related to homeschooling children with sensory processing disorder or sensory integration dysfunction. Please do not spam this list, sell your services or products. Respect one another and treat each other how you would wish to be treated. The owner/moderator of the group reserves the right to allow and disallow posts that do not fit the parameters and goals of this group.

When requesting to join the group please tell us about your family and include:

*how many kids you have who have sensory integration dysfunction

*how long you have been homeschooling

*how you think the group can help you (technical advice, homeschooling ideas, emotional strength/support, etc...)
