Welcome to 'Secret Cutters', a self injury group for all of us who are secret cutters, ie, those of us who need to hide the fact that we cut because of various reasons, maybe because of our jobs or because of our family and friends.

The very fact that we need to hide this activity shows how its such a taboo subject, and until we can kick that habit we need to hide it.

There are various things to do to hide your scars, such as wearing long sleeved clothes which isn't really practical in the summer, to using make-up, to taking vitamin e tablets and rubbing vitamin e cream into the skin.

Any tips on hiding the scars and giving up the cutting altogether, are gladly appreciated. Recovered cutters are always welcome.
