below is a copy of an email i sent to trudy in regards to the email
confusion - if you are recieving all emails individually, and
wondering why - i hope this expalins it -

like i said to trudy - if you choose to change your preferences, i
ask you select 'special notices' and not 'no email'

first of all - relax. when you signed up for the group, you marked
to get individual emails. this means ANY message posted to the club
will be emailed to you.

there are 3 options for reading group messages -
1 - individual emails - like you have been recieving.
2 - a group email, 1 email message a day with all message posted that
day.
3 - go to the website and read the messages yourself.

i- as group moderator, have gone to your account and changed your
preference to the 3rd option. you will not recieve anymore emails -
you will need to go to the site to read the messages. the only
messages you will recieive are from me - with special announcments,
etc.

if this is not what you want - you can go into the group membership
page and change this options yourself. i ask that you do not opt for
no email at all, but rather the special digest option...this will
allow me as group moderator to send you group related information -
chages, etc. "group business" type stuff
