hi everyone - haven't been any posts in a long time - hope all is
well with everyone.

looking for some advice -

my mom - who has SD - for 24 years - has had a rough year. she has
been batteling with sores on her foot that have been taking forever
to heal - been dealing with it since april. but now, she has
shingles.

have any of you or your family members with sd had shingles? how
long can she expect to 'deal' with it? she went to the doc's
yesterday and got a med to take - which is supposed to lessen all of
the effects.

she is worried because my sister is coming home for christmas with my
15 month old nephew and her husband - they are coming in jan. and
leaving from here to move to georgia - she doesn't want to give the
baby chicken pox, and it may be some time before we see them again -

any help you guys can give would be great!
