so sorry to hear about your losses! this disease is so complicated,
there are so many things we don't know, it affects so many in
different ways -

my mom is "lucky" i guess - but her next door neighbor, my "second
mom" growing up, was diagnosed with SD about 15 years after my mom -
her's spread through her body very quickly - all internally. and we
lost her within about 2 years of her diagnosis.

it was really odd for me - imagine 2 people i was close to being
afflicted with this crazy thing...both is very different ways.

but we all MUST continue to fight, those of us living with the
disease, and those of us who love and care about someone fighting -

my best to you in your fight - together we can call attention to it,
