Hi digesters,

Does anyone on the digest have skin so tight it significantly restricts range of
movement? My skin is getting so bad, so fast. I am waking up in the morning
tighter than the night before. It's my arms and upper trunk. I can't straighten
my arms or even stand with my arms by my sides. I can JUST reach to manage my
shower and toileting and dressing. At this rate I willl have to give up work in
the next few weeks. It is getting worse so quickly I am so scared and upset.
My lungs and everything else are stable, it is just the skin.

I NEED TO TRY A DIFFERENT TREATMENT NOW. I am on 1.25g of d-penicillamine and I
have retarted methotrexate 2 weeks ago. I am on 10mg daily of prednisolone.

Please if you can offer any useful advice I am really desperate.
