MEMBERS:<br><br>Dear Scleroderma Foundation member:<br><br>As you may
have read in the latest issue of "Newsline," the
Scleroderma <br>Foundation is now calling for nominees for
its new Board of Directors. Every <br>single current
board member's term will expire at the end of this
year.<br><br>This creates an unprecedented opportunity for members
to create the <br>Foundation they want to see -- a
strong, positive and proactive group who <br>will find
the fastest track to a cure. Let's use the
opportunity of the new <br>millennium to build and grow!
<br><br>Scleroderma researchers tell us they believe this disease
will be cured. <br>They need our help. Every one of us
reading this message can play a crucial <br>role. Let's
create a strong board!<br><br>If you have expertise to
contribute, and have the stamina, commitment and <br>energy
to work hard, run for the board. If you don't
believe you have what <br>it takes to be a board member,
look around you for someone who does -- a <br>spouse,
a business associate, friends or relatives who care
about you and <br>about making a difference in the
lives of hundreds of thousands of people. <br><br>Board
members establish policies and programs, direct staff,
determine the <br>Foundation's vision and priorities. You,
as an SF member, can influence all <br>of this by
your participation and input in this upcoming
election. Please <br>make your voices heard. <br><br>There
